There was no surprise when 38th ranked GeorgianAjara (2-5) lost to fifth ranked Icelandic UMFA (3-1) 63-69 on Sunday. UMFA trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 45-36 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. UMFA had a 36-23 advantage in offensive rebounds. Dilanas Sketrys nailed a double-double by scoring 19 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side and Bjorgvin Jonsson accounted for 14 points and 11 rebounds. Four UMFA players scored in double figures. Jumber Tavdgiridze came up with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 15 rebounds and Tato Chachanidze added 18 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for Ajara in the defeat. UMFA moved-up to second place, which they share with 6 other teams. Loser Ajara dropped to the 55th position with five games lost. They share it with London Elite and Kastav.
